Cleaner pulses for cleaner dataRAEA_InnovationAward

The 25fs "short-pulse" option on the RAEA HP allows you to improve the resolution of your experiments and increase the resolution of your signal for clearer results with less effort. To make sure you’re getting the best possible pulses, we qualify all of our systems with the industry-standard MesaPhotonics’ FROG to ensure that all of our energy ends up in the pulses and not the pedestal.

RAEA reliability

Typical short-pulse systems can be difficult to maintain due to the inherently tricky nature of having a well-shaped beam profile (in the case of the RAEA, with an M2 of < 1.3) with such high peak powers. That’s why we have designed RAEA to make servicing and maintenance easier than ever. Temperature-controlled baseplates and contamination-minimizing enclosures ensure that day-to-day maintenance on RAEA is significantly lower than a typical Ti:sapphire system.

Simplifying service

RAEA is designed to maximize your experimental up-time. Remote alignment capabilities mean that system tune-ups can be done without the need for a full service visit.  The modular architecture also makes it possible to send faulty modules back to the factory for repair without the need for scheduling an onsite visit or tearing down the entire system.

Flexibility without compromising your pulse

With the RAEA SP option, you don't need to sacrifice pulse quality for system flexibility. With system options extending from 1 to 15 kHz, you have the option to use your system for multiple experiments or dial in the repetition rate that's best for you with just one box. The RAEA system also offers unique computer-controlled tuning of your system's repetition rate, meaning that the only thing you need to do to access your system's full range of use is select a new settings profile.

KMLabs: pioneer in cryo-cooling

The award-winning Permacool™ cryo-cooling technology patented by KMLabs is at the heart of all RAEA configurations, allowing you to push your system harder without having to worry about the thermal lensing that can distort your beam in both time and space in other systems. KMLabs’ 20+ years of experience in cryogenically cooling Ti:sapphire crystals have allowed us to fine-tune this technology to make the best use of it in your system.  Learn more about the benefits of Permacool technology:  here.
