Combining the KMLabs XUUS with Ytterbium based amplifiers to extend the wavelength reach of your lab.

The XUUS system is the culmination more than 20 years of work by the Kapteyn/Murnane group at the University of Colorado and Kapteyn-Murnane Laboratories, Inc, who pioneered in the development of,

HHG_Theory_XUUS

     1) ultrafast amplifier systems generating 20-30 fs pulses with high power/pulse energy,
     2) the commercial HHG source in 13nm (60-120eV) and 30nm (20-60eV) based on KMLabs' patented specialty waveguide design, different from gas-jet or gas cell based mechanism, and
     3) the commercial HHG beam management and delivery for using HHG light in the most demanding applications such as high-fidelity EUV imaging.

The test results provide users of a typical Ytterbium based amplifiers a solid basis for what to expect when using their laser with the KMLabs XUUS.  The resulting EUV/Soft X-ray photons are manipulated and delivered by KMLabs customizable Arterium beamline, eg. focusing, diffracting, imaging, and monochromating.
