Laser Sales Engineer JOB DESCRIPTION:
Kapteyn-Murnane Laboratories, Inc. (KMLabs), located in Boulder, CO,
is a small, rapidly-growing technology company designing and
manufacturing ultrashort pulsed Ti:sapphire laser systems.
The successful Field Service Engineer will be expected to install,
maintain, and repair ultra-fast laser systems. In addition,
s/he will be responsible for representing KMLabs to our customers
and advocating for our customers at KMLabs, performing on-site
customer training, and supporting our customers via telephone and
e-mail. The candidate should expect to be at customer's
locations throughout the United States and around the world
approximately 50-75% time. Individual visits to customer sites
- typically University and Government laboratories - typically last
several days, depending on specific circumstances. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
The candidate must have at least 3 years of experience with laser
system field service, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and be
able to thrive in a small company environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Manufacturing Manager will be expected to streamline the
manufacturing process for our low production rate, complex, laser
systems. Specifically, s/he will be responsible for improving
efficiency, quality, and reproducibility of our manufacturing
process and shipping products on time and budget. Duties will
include managing production personnel; scheduling the purchase,
assembly, and test for our laser systems; interfacing with
scientists, engineers, quality control, finance, and executives;
identifying risks to schedule and budget. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
The candidate must have experience leading production personnel;
working with MRP software; setting up a production floor for
efficient operation; identifying risks to schedule and cost;
maintaining a safe work environment with rapidly changing priorities
and understand the small company culture. Candidates must be
